My jewelry making journey began when COVID-19 turned my life upside down. As a wedding photographer, large events having to cancel due to social distancing meant my greatest outlet for creativity was sadly stifled. The pandemic added a new layer of stress to any and all things. I needed art therapy, bad! I stumbled upon polymer clay and found solace in the creative process of making jewelry. Eventually, I began selling earrings for charities that moved me during the pandemic like The Bail Project and Black Girls Code. I wanted to continue this venture to both sustain a living and contribute to great charities. And that brings us to Forged For All.
The Power of 3
Each pair of earrings donates $1.00 to 3 charities that are important to me:
- National Center for Missing & Exploited Children
- IGNITE WORLDWIDE | Inspiring Girls Now In Technology Evolution
- The Bail Project
Every 50 pairs of earrings purchased, donations will be made and posted on my blog along with current information on one of the causes.
My name is Janelle and I reside in central New York with my husband, 2 daughters, 1 baby on the way, a Bullmastiff, and a hairless Sphinx cat. We’re a big family and we’re never boring! This new found love for polymer clay has also made me appreciate the power of buying handmade and buying from small business. Thank you to all who have purchased from me and supported us and our donation goals.
